types of excavations require an applicable knowledge of engineering,
geology, and soil mechanics. Cave-ins, confined space, flooding,
and underground utilities are just a few of the hazards associated
with this type of work. The purpose of this course is to increase an
awareness of possible hazards and how to prevent them.
